Our Cooperative represents the largest snail farm in this part of Europe at the moment (27hectare=66.7acres). The farm is situated on the motorway Novi Sad-Zrenjanin, near Zabalj. This location has been chosen because of the nearness of irrigational channel, excellent soil, as well as because of the nearness of the highway.

Breeding-farmyard is conceived as an experimental farm where future farmers from Serbia and Montenegro, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serb Republic, FYR Macedonia, Romania and Hungary will be educated, and thus help us to bring on further development of this agricultural branch in our region.
